The Firm has a historical background in investing in oil & gas properties in Texas. With the recent decline in oil & gas prices, the Firm believes it is an opportune time to purchase oil & gas producing assets as global energy demand in the long term will not be significantly reduced. We believe that to invest in the sector we must focus on both traditional and alternative sources of energy production.
Current commodity prices are at levels that are very attractive for investors with a long-term outlook. The de-levering of real assets in the energy business has created a tremendous dislocation and investors who agree with our thematic view are currently being presented with outsized risk/reward opportunities.
The Firm has excellent deal sourcing capability from deep relationships and industry contacts in both the traditional oil & gas industry as well as the alternative energy sectors, especially wind power.
